Georgia Confirms Equine Influenza Case

One horse on a 22-horse property in Georgia was confirmed with equine influenza.


On November 20, 2017, an Arabian gelding in Fort Valley, Georgia, had serous nasal discharge and a 105.2 fever and was confirmed to have equine influenza. Twenty two horse were exposed and no horses were isolated. The affected horse had a good vaccination history and is alive.
