The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services confirmed one case of Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) at a private facility in Nassau County. The horse was euthanized.

This is the 10th confirmed EEE case for Florida in 2021. For more information about EEE go to the EEE Fact Sheet.
