The AAEVT will host a one-day Anesthesia CE course hosted by Animal Imaging Clinic in Irving, Texas, on April 8. The program will feature Lori Bidwell, DVM, DACVAA. The program will include:
- Introductions / Anatomy Basics Anesthesia Basics Field Anesthesia Techniques Dealing with the Worst Case Scenario
- Field Techniques Wet Lab
- IV Catheter Placement in the Standing Horse (Including Saphenous and Cephalic Options)
- Sedation Techniques Induction Techniques How Much Monitoring Can You do in the Field Field Recovery Final Questions and Wrap-Up
