Eastern Equine Encephalitis in Leon County, Florida

Florida reported its fourth case of Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) for 2021 with a case in Leon County.

The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services confirmed case of Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) at a private facility in Leon County. This is the fourth confirmed EEE case in Florida this year. There is no official quarantine.
