The Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services confirmed a case of Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) in Nassau County. 

A weanling had clinical signs of ataxia and urine dribbling. It was euthanized.

This is the third confirmed case of EEE for Florida in 2021.
