Eighth Wisconsin Equine EEE Case Dead

Wisconsin has reported its eighth deadly case of equine Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) for 2017.

Wisconsin has reported its eighth deadly case of equine Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) for 2017. The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection said the unvaccinated, 8-year-old Quarter Horse mare from Juneau County showed neurologic signs, became non-ambulatory and was subsequently euthanized.
