Equine influenza has been confirmed in a group of about 50 horses in Cochise County, Arizona.

An attending veterinarian has reported that laboratory results confirmed equine influenza in a group of approximately 50 horses in Cochise County, Arizona. Fever, Malaise, inappetence and nasal discharged were first observed on January 1, 2018. Affected barns have been asked to establish a quarantine. The vaccination status of the horses is unknown.
