Gluck Equine Foundation Seeking Equine Philanthropy Director

The University of Kentucky is seeking an Equine Philanthropy Director to identify, cultivate, and solicit and steward prospects for major gifts to the Gluck Equine Foundation and all equine-related programs within the College of Agriculture, Food and Environment. This position will manage a portfolio of major gift prospects and collaborate with the College Advancement Office and University’s Office of Philanthropy to maximize development efforts.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of major gift development experience associated with a non-profit organization, individual fundraising/development role at a university, or equine-related non-profit. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated and documented success in fundraising, outstanding interpersonal communication skills, passion for the equine industry, and a vision that equine research advances the success and economic viability of the equine industry.
