Missouri Vet School Seeking Funding for Expansion

Funding for expansion at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary medicine has been sought for seven years, but according to an article on Mid-Missouri Radio (kbia.org), Dean Neil Olson said there is no timeline because of the lack of funding.

The majority of the 140,000 square feet of space the school wants to add would be used for “learning and teaching needs,” and the remaining would be for research.

In the article the dean stated he wanted the Missouri legislature to approve a bond program that would “involve matching funds from donors.”
