Researchers at Penn Vet New Bolton Center are surveying vets and horse owners about equine strangles reporting. Amy Dragoo

Editor’s note: The following was shared to encourage veterinarians and horse owners to participate in a short survey on equine strangles.

“We are seeking participants to complete a short survey (<10 minutes) investigating the opinions of veterinarians and horse owners on how the disease equine strangles is reported. Different states have different rules, so there are mixed opinions on how the disease should be reported and what should happen if an outbreak occurs. Successful completion will result in access to an online coupon code, along with entrance to win a prize from Maryland Saddlery or $100 VISA gift card.”
