Registration Now Open for 46th Lake Tahoe Equine Conference

The event will take place Jan. 27-31 and offer 20 hours of RACE-approved CE.

Registration is now open for the 46th Lake Tahoe Equine Conference, which is being held Jan. 27-31, 2025, at the Hyatt Lake Tahoe in Incline Village, Nevada. The event will feature nine speakers from across the U.S., 20 hours of RACE-approved CE, and plenty of time to enjoy the outdoors and hit the ski slopes.

The conference will include in-depth presentations on the following topics:

  • Practical equine neurology, incluyding a newly discovered heritable disease.
  • Lameness and imaging of the neck and spine from head to tail.
  • Management of cervical vertebral arthritis.
  • Complex orthopedic imaging and PET scans.
  • Endocrine disorders.
  • Cardiac murmurs and arrythmias.
  • Cybersecurity for equine veterinarians.
  • Alternative approaches to equine gastric ulcer disease.

The Monday and Wednesday social programs will provide valuable networking opportunities with practitioners sharing their experiences. The interval between the morning and evening sessions allow participants the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful Lake Tahoe area. Downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, and hiking are some of the activities available.  Others may choose to just relax or enjoy the various Lake Tahoe attractions or the pool and spa. Participants are encouraged to bring their family and friends.
