Neogen Launches New Look Prozap Livestock and Equine Insecticides

Neogen is refreshing its comprehensive line of effective Prozap farm, home, livestock and equine insecticides.

Neogen is refreshing its comprehensive line of effective Prozap farm, home, livestock and equine insecticides to better connect the brand with Neogen’s full line of biosecurity products, and enhance visibility on the shelf with easy recognition of the products’ uses. Consumers will begin seeing the new look late summer of 2017 in preparation for next spring.

Prozap’s comprehensive line of insecticide products includes aerosols, ready-to-use liquids, concentrates and dust products to meet the needs of livestock producers, equestrians, home owners and pet owners. Neogen acquired the producer of Prozap products, Chem-Tech, Ltd. to broaden its agricultural biosecurity portfolio.

“When we acquired the Prozap products, we knew we would eventually change the look of products to make them more cohesive with our other Neogen biosecurity offerings, but we also wanted to take the time to listen to consumers to determine what changes they wanted to see,” said Neogen’s Katherine Wheatley. “We listened, and we’ve done that through the addition of icons, color coding and a new logo reflecting the accuracy and precision of our insecticide formulations.”

Neogen’s popular Prozap livestock and equine insecticide products include:

LD-44 Z — the industry leading aerosol fogger for on-animal and farm use. LD-44Z quickly knocks down and kills flying and crawling insects with synergized pyrethrin. Essential for farms, dairies, stables, kennels and other buildings.

Insectrin 1% Pour-On Xtra — a synergized, ready-to-use pour-on, spray or mist that has become the cattle industry standard for the control of flies, lice and mosquitoes. This versatile product may also be used as a spot or premise spray in and around animal premises, kennels and outdoor meat processing facilities.

Final-Fly-T — this ready-to-use formula with lanolin and citronella was developed especially for horses. It can be used as a wipe or spray to provide effective protection from pesky insects. This premium equine fly spray is the choice of professional horsemen in the barn, on the trail and in the show arena.

Insect Guard — convenient 24 hour protection for flying and crawling insects in and around the home and farm. Through vapor action, this pest strip releases Vapona for fast and effective control of insects and spiders. One strip treats up to 1,200 cubic feet for up to four months in unoccupied areas of the home, barn, stable, other farm buildings and raw grain bulk storage units.
