The Colorado Department or Agriculture has confirmed a case of West Nile virus (WNV) in Weld County. This marked the first confirmed case of West Nile virus in Colorado for this year.
The unvaccinated horse developed acute neurologic signs on July 24, and was recovering at the time of this report.
