Washington State Equine Influenza at Boarding Facility

The Washington State Veterinarian reported a confirmed case of equine influenza at a boarding facility in Kitsap County. Two other horses are suspected of having influenza, and 25 horses have been exposed.

The attending veterinarian and the farm owner have placed the facility in a voluntary quarantine.
