EEG 2015 Recommendations for PPID

The Equine Endocrinology Group in 2015 released their recommendations on diagnosis and management of pituitary pars intermedia dysfunction (PPID). You can find the link to the downloadable PDF below.

The EEG states as their mission: Advancing research and providing recommendations for hte diagnosis and management of equine endocrine disorders.

“The Equine Endocrinology Group (EEG) is a group of clinicians and researchers that work together to advance our understanding of endocrine disorders in horses. The group contains key opinion leaders in the field who meet annually to review diagnosis and treatment recommendations and discuss research. This group provides advice to veterinarians, specialists, research scientists, and the public with the mission of increasing awareness of equine endocrine disorders and improving the diagnosis and management of these conditions.”
