EquiManagement.com will offer a monthly newsletter with original content pertinent to the business and life of equine veterinarians, vet students, vet techs and those who handle the business of an equine practice.

You must register on the website in order to gain access to most of the information since it is designed specifically for veterinarians and the professionals who support them.

Visit booth #1779 at the AAEP Convention (near The Power Stop, the former Cyber Café) and get signed up for access to EquiManagement.com.

Learning Lounge at AAEP

We also want to invite you to our free presentation at 1:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 10, in the AAEP Learning Lounge during the convention. Our topic is “45 Marketing Tips in 45 Minutes,” and if you don’t find something in this fast-paced, information-packed marketing session to help you make more money, you weren’t listening!

Dr. Bob Magnus and I team up to bring you a high-energy session geared toward helping you use marketing to improve your profitability.

Sponsor Appreciation

The vet industry is made up of a group of individuals managing their lives and practices—for the most part—independently of anyone else. However, this is also a group that is loyal to those who are vested in the business of veterinary medicine. This month, EquiManagement wants to thank two partners who have stepped up to help us share information.

The leaders of the Veterinary Business Management Association requested that their members receive EquiManagement, and Merial stepped up to help us deliver that information. The company’s sponsorship entitles VBMA members to receive issues of EquiManagement for the next year. It gives us hope that the veterinary students of tomorrow recognized the need for business training to the extent that they started their own association to help them learn.

We also want to thank Zoetis for sponsoring the Special Report from the 2013 AAEP Business Meeting in this issue. While we can’t include all of the information in this magazine, the sponsorship includes expanded versions of these articles as downloads on the new EquiManagement.com website. There also will be Zoetis-sponsored articles from the meeting that will be available exclusively on EquiManagement.com.

As always, feel free to contact me at KBrown@aimmedia.com or 859-227-7826 with any questions or comments.
