Deadline for Domesticated Equid Health Proposals Coming Soon

Proposals for studies focused on domesticated equid health topics are due to the Morris Animal Foundation by Wednesday, July 12.
Morris Animal Foundation is accepting Domesticated Equid Health Proposals

You have two weeks left to submit proposals for studies focused on domesticated equid health topics.

Proposals should advance the health and overall welfare of domesticated horses, ponies, donkeys and/or mules. Please note that for racehorses and wild equids, we fund research focused on health and quality of life only where outcomes are likely to be of universal equine/equid benefit. The universal outcomes must be clearly outlined in the animal health impact section of your proposal. Use of other species as models (including laboratory rodents) is not appropriate for this topic. Visit our Grants page for more information including proposal documents.

Proposals are due by Wednesday, July 12, 2023, 4:59 p.m. ET.

Submit domesticated equid health proposals to morrisanimalfoundation.aibs-scores.org. All applicants are required to register by creating a login at this site. The individual submitting the application must be the Applicant/Principal Investigator.

For more information, please see our press release or visit our Grants page. If you have any questions that are not addressed in the proposal guidelines or FAQ webpage, please contact us.
