A 13-year-old Paint gelding was confirmed with equine influenza in Clackamas County, Oregon, on December 1. The gelding had onset of clinical signs on November 26 that included mild fever, nasal discharge and a mild cough. The gelding, which was undervaccinated, was affected and alive at the time of this report from the Equine Disease Communication Center and the attending veterinarian.

The property is under a voluntary quarantine.
