Equine Influenza in Tennessee

Four horses tested positive for equine influenza virus in Williamson County, Tennessee. Google maps

The Tennessee Department of Agriculture notified the Equine Disease Communication Center that four horses returning from out-of-state events have tested positive for equine influenza virus. All of the horses are from Williamson County in Middle Tennessee, but they are not all from the same barn.

All of the horses have been isolated to prevent further spread of the virus.
