Massachusetts horses at two different boarding facilities in Middlesex County and one boarding facility in Bristol County have been confirmed positive for equine strangles. 

One confirmed case was at a boarding facility in Middlesex County and was confirmed on May 11. The horse is affected and alive.

The next confirmed case was at a different boarding facility in Middlesex County and was confirmed on May 13. That horse is affected and alive.

The third confirmed case of equine strangles was at a boarding facility in Bristol County. It was confirmed on May 4. That horse is also affected and alive.
