Indiana Horse Euthanized Due to Herpesvirus

The Indiana State Board of Animal Health reported to the Equine Disease Communication Center that one horse has been euthanized due to equine herpesvirus.

The age, breed and gender of the horse was not reported. Onset of clinical signs was January 5, 2019, the horse was treated on January 6 and euthanized later that day. 

No quarantine was issued.
