Respiratory ailments are common in horses, and they have the potential to severely limit their athletic capabilities and quality of life. When respiratory disorders present, equine veterinarians need to act quickly to diagnose and manage them.

For Equine Respiratory Health Week, starting Nov. 18, 2024, EquiManagement has partnered with AirWiseTM to focus attention on new developments in the identification and management of airway disease. AirWise, a new product developed by Kentucky Performance Products, is research-proven to support normal airway function in horses showing signs of airway disease.

Research topics include diagnosing respiratory ailments, managing severe equine asthma, and the impacts of wildfire smoke exposure on horses’ lower airways.
