Neurologic Herpesvirus in Indiana

An attending veterinarian reported that a boarding facility in Hamilton County, Indiana, has been placed under quarantine after one horse tested positive for equine herpesvirus myeloencephalopathy (EHM or neurologic equine herpesvirus).

Twenty other horses have been exposed.
