Respiratory Equine Herpesvirus in Indiana

Two horses have been confirmed and 28 others are in quarantine due to respiratory equine herpesvirus.

The Indiana State Board of Animal Health has confirmed two horses with respiratory herpesvirus in Hamilton County. They are not neurologic. The two horses are being quarantined. 

The 28 other horses that are exposed are being quarantined and their temperatures checked twice daily.
