South Carolina Rehab Center Opens

Camden Equine Rehabilitation & Conditioning Center (www.camdenequinecenter.com) has opened for business on the grounds of a hunter and jumper training facility in Kershaw County, South Carolina. The new center offers the latest techniques, veterinary technology and alternative sports medicine to assist in injury recovery, post-surgical care and accelerated conditioning.

The facility houses state-of-the-art therapy equipment, 12’ x 12’ stalls, a 300’ x 200’ riding arena, large grass paddocks and round pens, and separate treatment areas where experienced staff can help horses recover as quickly and happily as possible.

All of the services are supervised by the horse’s own veterinarian and carried out by the center’s staff according to his or her directions and recommendations. Acupuncture, chiropractic and shock-wave therapies are also available through certified/professional veterinarians. The staff at the Camden Equine Rehabilitation & Conditioning Center handles the scheduling of appointments, daily medical care, physical therapy and conditioning exercises. Short and long- term lay-up, as well as outpatient services, are available.
