South Carolina has confirmed its third case of Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) for 2017.

South Carolina has confirmed its third case of Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) for 2017. The South Carolina State Veterinarian’s office said a 3-year-old Thoroughbred gelding from Richland County was euthanized due to EEE. The gelding had an unknown vaccination status.
