Two Eastern Equine Encephalitis Cases in South Carolina

Clemson Livestock Poultry Health reported a case of Eastern equine encephalitis (EEE) in a yearling Quarter Horse filly in Horry County, South Carolina, that was euthanized. 

In Edgefield County, Clemson reported that a two-year-old Miniature Horse filly was confirmed with EEE. The filly is under a voluntary quarantine.
