XIV WEVA Congress in October

This year will be noteworthy for equine veterinary medicine. The Biennial Congress of the World Equine Veterinary Association (WEVA) will be held on October 6-10, 2015, in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico. The 2015 WEVA congress is organized by the Mexican Association of Equine Practitioners (AMMVEE).

The event will be a memorable milestone in the history of the WEVA congress, offering pre-Congress wet labs on Oct. 6 and 7 in reproduction, lameness, imaging and ophthalmology. On Oct. 8, we will come together for the Opening Ceremony that will be attended by world-known experts in and outside the field of equine medicine.
three3 days, equine veterinary experts will share their knowledge and experiences with participants on all aspects of equine medicine. Each day is organized into three simultaneous sessions offering lectures in different disciplines. In addition, during the breaks, participants will be able to visit the posters’ area (view the program).

On Oct. 10, we will celebrate the closing ceremony, where participants will enjoy a special activity on equine reproduction: “An ultrasound demonstration on a live horse”will be performed by Prof. Jean-Marie Denoix. This promises to be an educational and memorable experience.
