In Episode 11 of The Business of Practice podcast, we talk to Caitlin DeWilde, DVM, about Veterinary Social Marketing 101. DeWilde founded The Social DVM in 2013, when she recognized the untapped potential of veterinarians to easily and affordably connect with their clients through social media. The Social DVM is the veterinary industry’s only DVM-owned and -founded social media consulting firm. DeWilde and her team of veterinary professionals work with individual veterinarians, veterinary practices of all sizes, and national industry groups to help craft a creative, unique and effective marketing strategy. DeWilde has served as president for the Greater St. Louis Veterinary Medical Association, and she currently sits on the Missouri Veterinary Medical Foundation board.
