Highlights

A variety of research studies providing new information relevant to the biochemistry, nutrition and cardiorespiratory function of athletic horses were presented at the 9th International Conference on Equine Exercise Physiology (ICEEP 9) in June 2014, in England. The purpose of this article is to highlight the results of novel and clinically relevant scientific investigations presented at the conference for the benefit of veterinarians and other professionals who work with athletic horses.
