The American Association of Equine Veterinary Technicians (AAEVT) hosts a variety of in-person and virtual events throughout the year as continuing education opportunities for vet techs. The upcoming Spring Regional Meeting will take place May 17-18 at Weatherford Equine’s beautiful facility in Weatherford, Texas. Attendees get to enjoy a welcome reception Friday evening, followed by a full day of lectures and hands-on labs covering an array of clinic and ambulatory topics on Saturday. 

Weatherford Equine’s own Heath Qualls, DVM, MS, Dipl. ACVIM-LA; Andrew Willis, Dipl. ACVIM-LA; and Alexandra Cofield, DVM, MS, will lecture on repro, respiratory, and endocrine topics. Hands-on labs will cover shockwave, bandaging, suturing, stallside blood analysis, and respiratory.
