The Massachusetts State Veterinary Office confirmed cases of Potomac horse fever in Worcester and Norfolk Counties.

A horse in Worcester County had onset of clinical signs for Potomac horse fever on July 29 and tested positive. The horse is deceased.

A horse in Norfolk Counted tested positive for Potomac horse fever. There were no other details provided.
