Hallmarq Partners with Locomotor Pathology Group

Hallmarq Veterinary Imaging, manufacturer of the standing MRI, recently announced its selection as a corporate partner of the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology. This society was formed for the purpose of providing advanced education in the field of equine lameness, including osteoarticular, musculotendinous and nervous system pathology.

Jos Belgrave, a veterinarian and CEO of Hallmarq, says, “ISELP fills a critical role, not just in the continuing education of veterinarians, but also in the advancement of equine sports medicine overall, by bringing together the brightest minds worldwide to break new ground on some of our most vexing problems. We are pleased to be able to support this mission as a corporate sponsor.”

ISELP’s program is a two-year course of study focused on the locomotor system intensely and covering the latest in diagnostic tools (radiography, ultrasound, MRI) and non-invasive therapies. Upon completion of the program, a veterinarian has the knowledge to become a lameness solutions leader. Without the support of corporate and module sponsors, this valuable educational program would not be possible.

Some prominent lameness veterinarians in the United States and Europe, including a number of Olympic team veterinarians, are members. For more information about ISELP, visit iselp.org.—Horsefly Creative
